You might wanna try a google search for "XBCD". It's a driver and config utility for Xbox controllers, and I've found it to work very well with my S-type controller. I do believe it works for 360 Controllers aswell.
No worries at all :D I went through some troubles trying to get mine up and running as well, even installing dodgy drivers until I found the XBCD ones.
Whats the point of PC gaming with a controller? Mouse and keyboard are supreme in every aspect IMO.concord9
I agree with you almost 100%. Only reason I got the controller hooked up was for a select few games- Resident Evil 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in particular. No way in hell I could have played either of those with a mouse + kb config lol. I don't think I could see myself using a gamepad on the PC for anything else... I suppose sport games would be easier? *shrug*
