i was trying to install my old copy of world of warcraft and it said the key-gen was already in use (most likely from my old acount) is there a way i can reset it? or should i just try to get my old acount back? or just buy it again? thanx
For the uneducated masses, a key-gen is slang for a "CD Key Generator", an illegal pirateing tool that allows losers to generate CD Keys for software they do not own. This kind of subject in the forums is highly irresponsible.
That being said, if you are referring to your CD install key for Warcraft, just contact Blizzard and explain your situation, for a nominal fee they should remedy your problem.

You only get one account per CD key, unless you put in that code that registers your friend for the free trial, which isn't a real account... so to get a new account name you have to buy the game, free trial or not. I suggest you use your old account name. I don't see why would want to purchase the game again, only you if you wanted 2 accounts, then that old one would be a complete waste of money.
