I can't seem to connect to any server. I've tried several different servers to no avail. I connect to servers on other games like Left 4 Dead or Black Ops just fine. What puzzles me is that when you're trying to connect to a server in Killing Floor, there isn't even a loading bar! Just a black screen that says connecting (press F10 to cancel) with an IP address.

Furthermore, when you use your ironsights, 50% of the time it won't aim down. Any tips on how to fix the connection issues? If it helps, I'm using AVG anti-virus. Cable broadband with 22-28 mb/s. I even turned on dynamic connection.

i had similar sort of issues, except every server i joined timed out. I think it may have something to do with opening up your ports within your router. You might have to find the games ports and enable them through your router. Also check your firewall to see if its not blocking it.

Got it working. In filters, I checked the perks enabled box and it worked after that. Thanks for your help.

I am unable to connect to a server again. This is very frustrating. I played one game so far on one server. I've allowed Killing Floor in Windows Firewall. I have no clue how to open up ports within my router.

This should help you http://portforward.com/ To be honest its not that complicated, but if its not your firewall its likely a problem with your router.

I have the same issue. I think it's something about the servers not reporting correctly if they are full or not. I'm really not sure what the issue is. You can go to Tripwire's forums and see all these weird solutions. Ranging from replacing files, opening ports, deleting the game then downloading from Chicago and none of them work. One day I just kept checking servers till I got a few that worked. I saved them and just launch the game from the server menu on Steam. It's the only thing that works for me.
