kind of low 3dmark 06 score??? (or not)

The score is 5653, and the CPU is OC'd to 3.2ghz.

here's the specs:

That's not terrible for an 8600. It does seem slightly lower, but probably not by much. I have an 8800 GTS OCed along with a 3.2 Ghz core 2 and I get 10,000 so the only thing I can guess is that it's your video card.

Well Im actually buying an 8800 gts once I get a little money around (I stripped the 8600 out of my other pc)

but before the OC the score was 5500 something, 150 point gain???

That's a little low, but I wouldn't worry. Real gaming matters more, try benching it in games.

Seems about right, actually. I barely break 6k with an X1900XT overclocked to 650/750 and a slightly lighter CPU overclock.
