Thinking of buying it as it's on sale right now, has anyone played it and if so, what do you think of it?

I'm not looking for anything revolutionary,

I thought it was pretty fun and well worth it.

Pros:

-Big world to explore with tons of quests to do and monsters to kill

-Nice graphics

-Fun action based combat system with a nice amount of moves and different move-sets for different weapon types

-Lots of items to collect and a decent item system with varying tiers of quality and some crafting

-Nice skill system that allows you to invest into 3 separate branches (warrior, rogue, wizard) at your discretion...so fireball chucking warriors are totally possible

-Can buy houses in parts of the world giving you storage, and in the case of the DLC, a base of operation with vendors/etc

Cons:

-Does eventually get repetitive...took me about 30 hours to complete and by the end I basically had my fill

-Story is forgettable

-Side mission overload...in a lot of cases they went for quantity over quality

-Combat gets repetitive after a while too, and can get kinda "mashy" after a while

Anyways I would recommend the game if story isn't a big concern for you, and a nice action rpg involving lots of killing, leveling, and exploring sounds fun too you. 

It is a pretty boring game...very mediocre...to be honest.

Nice combat and cool gameworld but its very very boring after a few hours. Id say wait till its $3-5 on sale.

Its an offline mmo with some cool combat. Thats it

One of the more underrted RPG's in the past few years. Buy it, play it, become it.

For me this game is worth it. I'm not much of a critic, I just play them for the fun of it. 

I paid about $10 and got my moneys worth.

I think you should buy Dark Souls instead.

You will get your moneys worth if you stick with it. I found it fun.

I think you should buy Drakensang instead.

I liked it quite a bit, can't talk on DLC though. 

Pros:

-Nice combat system.

-Strong customization.

-A big world with lots to do.

-Amazing art style.

Cons:

-Level cap is really low.

-The game writers threw way too much exposition at the player for no reason.

-Story was pretty predictable on the whole.

So get it if you like hitting things and exploring a world, not so much if you want a strong story experience.

I bought it at $60 (DLC and everything included).

It's a fun game, but it does get a bit repetitive after a while and the story is generally uninteresting.
