Has anyone had this stupid Kiwee toolbar/Malware help itself to your computer. I uninstall, and run a registry cleaner, spybot, mcafee, and malwarebyte. Yet every time I restart my laptop, there it is. Its really screwing up my computer. Does anyone have any advice on how I can rescue my computer?? Please help me

Yeah. I installed it, thinking it would benefit my messaging. But nooooooo! It stuffed it, and it took forever to get off. I use Steam now to communicate with people but I have no Steam Games so people have to add me... Grr. It sucks.

I didn't even download it. I have no idea how it got n my computer... I think it pretended to be an adobe flash player update and installed itself. I just don't understand how it keeps magically re-appearing. I have manually checked every nook and cranny in my pc, it appears to be gone. I've blocked the website(s) and ran allllll of my previously mentioned software, along with manually searching the registry. If it comes back again I'm going to cry

^ Nice guide, but I already do all of that regularly, my problem isn't with my computers speed, its with this stupid Malware (Kiwee) that has installed itself. And surprise surprise when I restarted my computer, it was back... again... *sigh* No matter what I do I can't seem to permanently remove it, even when It seems like its gone, once I restart its back. If anyone has fought this battle and won, I'd love to hear how you accomplished it.

Here's a hint turn off system restore because viruses,malwate/spyware like to make copies of themselves and hide in their and windows will not allow scanners to delete anything in that.

OK, as you are using Vista you can remove its user privileges through the task manager. go to 'processes' and find the kiwee toolbar and right click and select properties. Then under security make all the tick boxes go to Deny. Now when you restart Windows will not allow it to start.
