Misleading title lol. I almost wet my pants in excitement thinking it was confirmed or you had word about it rising.
Well nice way to build a guys hopes up then crush it to the floor.... Either way i've given up on Kotor 3 a long, long time ago (pun intended).

It was no intended to mislead, it was intended as a claim of KOTOR fans to make developers and publishers realize we want that game. They always say they give the market what it wants but, most of the times, they develope games they want us to play. I am aware that KOTOR 3 is far from the developers spectrum, and if it is, then it surely is some kind of mutated thing. So much for marketing research...
I think you are a bit mistaken there. There were heaps of people asking for an online KOTOR, or a new Star Wars MMO.
You are probably right about people asking for an MMO of SW, but the end product (SWTOR) was not what KOTOR fans wanted. the only epic thing about SWTOR was its trailer. Fun, probably, but not what gamers of the original KOTOR and KOTOR 2 were asking for. It was more a WoW and LOTRO clone. Developers, or perhaps the publihser, thought it was safer to launch an MMO more like WoW to appeal the masses. KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are single-player experinces, each with its weakneses and strengths, and each one made an impact on fans due to its game-play and story-telling. SWTOR did achieve lots of suscribers, but it cannot replace the hunger for KOTOR 3 as a single-player experience.
