KOTOR III 2 be done by BIOWARE or OBSIDIAN?

I would vouch for Bioware even though i like Obsidian alot and i appreciate them and i know that if they had more time kotor 2 would have been more complex and sh*t if LucasArts wouldn't have pushed em...My dream is 2 see them both BIoware+Obsidian on a KOTOR III....Or any other RPG..So who would u like 2 do KOTOR 3 name ur option and argue...

Bioware.. Obisidan has shown to be extremely incompetent being forced to rush their games constantly.. The huge blunder of NWN2 is proof of this..

And how did you find KOTOR 2 more indepth? It had no where near the character devolpment, interaction, along with one of the worse endings ever.. It also got insanely easy at the end of the game.

Of course this all depends on which RPGs you are talking about but.... are you sure Bioware made them and not Black Isle?;)

Obsidian as they made a far more in depth story in kotor 2 than the usual predictable story in kotor. However I didn't like their level designs at all.BounceDK

altough, i would like bioware to make the game, most probabaly obsidian would make kotor 3. anyway, with so many people from black isle studio in obsidian, how come their games seem to suck so much

It has to be hard? I liked being a badass jedi kicking som butt. I hate games which are easy to appeal to people, steamlined and holding your hand, but in a game like Kotor, the combat isn't really something you can be good at. The last levels of Kotor I were dull because they were so crowded (I don't mind as long as xbox kids do though :P). It wasn't Obsidian's fault Kotor II was rushed, lucas arts were like "RELEASE IT!". You should check out the Kotor II restoration project.

There's already a Star Wars MMO out there, I doubt that Bioware would be making another one.

Exactly, Bioware doesn't even make PC games anymore. Although they say Dragon Age will be PC exclusive, but until they announce a release date, they arestrictly a 360 game maker in my book.

Although everyone hates KOTOR I because of the clearly rushed ending, the game was much better gameplay wise as well character development wise. KOTOR II had very complex characters in comparison to the first one. onemic

They were the EXACT same! Except they raised it to level 40.. And added a few new feats... And KOTOR's ending was far more forfilling.. Then the KOTOR 2's flying away form planet, and nothign happening..

As for developer, idunno...the story of the first one was great (which is a key factor in RPGs for me), but the gameplay in the second was especially good, specifically the light/dark alignment system. Man I love being evil and twisting handmaiden into a dark hand-to-hand jedi guardian.

More feats, lightsaber styles, and most importantly the light/dark influence system. I agree that the ending of KOTOR II was horrible and they clearly rushed the game near the end, but to say that the gameplay is the exact same as KOTOR 1 is unfounded.

Really KOTOR 2 would be better than KOTOR 1 in every conceivable way if they hadn't rushed development near the ending.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Best PC, XBOX and Role Playing game ever ( made by BioWare ) ( superb story with the greatest PC story twist ever, great locations, very interesting characters )

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords - Good RPG ( made by Obsidian ) ( boring unfinished story with a terrible ending, very easy, boring locations, uninteresting characters, a million bugs, it's more like an expansion pack because almost everything was copied from KOTOR 1 and only a few things were added )

Even if LucasArts didn't rush Obsidian to cut so much content I doubt it would have been better than KOTOR 1 ( even with team gizka's restoration project it won't be better ). Maybe they rushed KOTOR 2, but they also messed up Neverwinter Nights 2 ( buggiest game ever ). Obsidian will never be as good as Black Isle was.

I hope BioWare makes KOTOR 3 ( but I doubt it ), but I just hope they make Mass Effect for PC too ( which will be the greatest RPG ever and GOTY 2007 ) and don't wait 2 years after it's out for XBOX360 to make it for PC ( like they did with Jade Empire which is also a great RPG )

That's JRPGs and I don't consider them as REAL RPGs ( moslty because there aren't ANY choices and they are very linear )

If LucasArts hadn't rushed Obsidian with the making of Knights of The Old Republic 2, I really believe it would've been a much better game than the first. For that reason, I would have absolutely no problem with Obsidian doing a 3rd KOTOR..which is probably going to be the case, if one is ever made.

I think I would prefer that BioWare work on it, but we all know that isn't going to happen. Obsidian is more than capable of pulling it off, let's just hope LucasArts funds them properly and doesn't rush development this time around.

I want Relic to do something new myself and create a RPG.

I thought there were a lot more "cooler" and more creative parts in KOTOR2 than in one, I love the voice and art style of Darth Nihilus and his back story, I mean the guy consumes planets, he makes Malak look like a kitten. Some of the quests were also rather clever, like tricking "the champ" and following the robotic duo as they wrek mayhem.

Plus I also think that Obsidian showed what they could do with Mask of the Betrayer, which is my rpg of 2007, I mean One-of-Many is awsome, how many other evil characters have an apettatie for souls. He is like the evil Vhailor.

Bioware is the better maker, but Obsidian did a great job on KOTOR2 i thought... it was pushed out rather fast, so obvisouly had a few problems, but overall it was alot better then i expected.

Ill buy a KOTOR 3 no matter who makes it though to be honest. But after playing Mass Effect again recently, i gotta admit i sure do admire Bioware hehe

please please bioware! They have made some of the most FUN games, maybe not the best looking but the game play was just FUN!
