Quote:"People for the longest time tried to port shooters from the PC onto the console. And people said the same things that they are saying now about Kinect – "It's never going to be responsive enough to do this," or "You're never going to get a fun first person shooter on the console – it's only made for a keyboard and mouse and that is the way it is supposed to be played."
Yes and console FPS are still not responsive on the home console. Sure maybe they can hit some nice sale figures by selling to dumbed down mainstream market. That doesn't change the fact that FPS still plays a lot better on the PC.
"Halo did an awesome job of building a first-person shooter exclusively for the console, and now hardly anyone plays first person shooters on the PC anymore. It's all about the console. "
Now this guy is just talking out of his posterior. No one plays FPS on PC any more? Just look at steam statistics. Todays top three most played games. MW2, CS:S. And normal CS.. At the moment there's over 150k players playing these three games. At number five you have TF2 with 13k, number six LFD2 with 10k, And this is just Steam. So we're not even factoring in games outside steam such as BC:2.
And this guy created Kinect? I have no doubt that Kinect will end up just like what he spews in his interviews.. crap.
