Hey guys, lately I just rebought my l4d on my relatively old Asus g50 laptop. Lately there has been a ridiculous FPS (frames per second) lag that I just cannot bear. The FPS drops down from like a 50 to a 5 in a second its unbelievable. I've tried everything that I could think of to prevent it. I've lowered all of my video settings, I've set a fan to the laptop to keep it from overheating, I've reformatted the laptop, and I've restarted the laptop before starting the game. The lag usually happens when I'm in mid-game just owning some people. Anyone have similar problems or suggestions on how to fix this? Please!! I haven't played L4d in months!
