LA Noire full of problems!

Seriously, this port is disgusting!

Texture loadings, sometimes i start the game and it stays with a black screen, others it runs slow as f*ck!

Are there any fixes for this crap? I tried the commands and they fix the stutering but the texture loading won't go!

Will lowering directx from 11 to 9 work too? Everybody says it only causes issues to the game!

Damn, what a shame, i'm loving the game, but it's impossible to play it this way :(

Well that's PC gaming I guess, sooner or later you'll find a game that doesn't like your setup in some obscure way that doesn't affect others.

Its a pretty amazing game though.

Yeah theres at least one game that doesn't like your computer. For me its Fallout New Vegas, can play the tutorial bit then once i leave the starting area the game just keeps crashing. Fallout 3 also gave me problems when i got about 10 hours into it.

For me it's Burnout Paradise. To this day I still can't launch the damn thing.

Damn that sucks, the Fallout games are my favorite RPG games of all time, and with mods they are just spectacular in every way.

I don't mean to pour salt on the wound, I just love Fallout.

With my current PC ive only had one game not work and it was The Witcher1. I did a reformat and it worked, but that month trying to get it working, chatting to there support team,etc... was very annoying.

Try DX9. I had weird artifacts in DX11.

It is a poor port. Those saying otherwise are either ignorant or lying.

Runs flawlessly on my PC.

While it works good for me now, I did have problems running it when I first bought it. I had stuttering issues and recently with DX11. But now that I put in a few lines in the command & play it using DX9, it's fine. hrt_rulz01

la noire has some drm related issues with installing, and on old amd cards you need old drivers. New amd cards probably have some driver issues too. I blame amd, they have been messing up alot lately.

The only two pc games from the last 10 years or so that Ive played that pissed me off where saints row 2 and batman arkham city. Saints row 2 was a mess, and arkham city wasnt too bad, but compared to arkham asylum I was stunned. DX11 and physyx are still messed to this day in arkham city.
