Lamest character ever in a PC game

Who would say is the lamest character in a PC game that came out in the last 15 years? When I say "lame", don't say X-Men's Professor X just because he's in a wheelchair. When I say "lame" I mean the crappiest character.

A character that would qualify for this title would need to have some or all of the following qualities:

• Had a large role in the game
• Annoying
• Poorly developed
• Bad dialogue
• Bad avatar or graphical image

i was just exposed to the horridness of cloud strip or whatever his name was. before that, i knew of a squirrel lionhung or whatever because of some dude i had the misfortune of knowing. they both make me hurl.

ignore me, if you're a fan of jrpgs. i'm just not. that's all.

Mapes from FEAR is a good shout

also the Irish guy (forget his name) in Bioshock (dare i mention this game again...?) - you just KNOW what's going to happen... even if you haven't played SS2

Nomad (except for the suit)

I never thought he seemed that bad in the game... but after watching the latest preview video for the Duke Nukem Forever game... maybe I see where you're going with that.

Well the first one wasnt that bad, but after some of the later ones, like Planet of the Babes, it just started getting really stupid.

How about Minsk from Baldur's Gate? I think that's his name. It's the dude with the hamster.

I actually thought he was funny at times, and the guy grows on you, but I remember the first time I played the game and I met him, he was so annoying I just beat him down and he was dead for good. I hadn't realized he was sorta one of the significant characters in the game until Ireplayed the game and this time spared him and let him join my team.

How about Karras from Thief 2?

I actually thought he made a really good bad guy cause he was such a annoying douchebag. It was just so nice to take him down at the end of the game, but he could easily get on your nerves.

I'd name a character from Oblivion, but they were all so boring, I can't even classify them as worst ever. They just left no impression on me whatsoever. I have a hard time even remembering their names. Ohhhh, wait. I just thought of one.

Sheogorath from Oblivion: Shivering Isles?

Some ppl though he was funny, and others thought he was ridiculously annoying. It makes you want to just beat him down like you can most characters in the game, but he is one of the un-killable ppl.

It's mostly because I hate silent protagonists. IMO that makes them VERY shallow

And he has all of the characteristics stated above:

• Had a large role in the game
• Annoying (since he doesn't talk)
• Poorly developed (the guy has apsolutely no character)
• Bad dialogue (NO dialogue)
• Bad avatar or graphical image (how the hell is he such a good shooter when he's a nerdy scientist with GLASSES, he jumps around his glasses never break or fall!!??)

Even Master Chief isn't this shallow

BTW, this isn't my most hated character, that's : It's a me Moronio

Cloud and Squall were actually good characters. Maybe thats cause Squall reminds me a lot of myself. Now you want to talk an annoying Final Fantasy character, well Tidus was stupid annoying.

I think he glued his glasses onto his nose. That's why they never fall off. As for why they never break... I'm thinking he spent the extra 200 bucks to get those really really expensive ones that are nearly indestructible.

I quite liked Sheogorath, he reminded me of Billy Conelly and i thought some of the stuff he said was amusing, he's definitely one of the better characters in Oblivion.

I would have to nominate the Adoring Fan, he just follows you everywhere, and then i felt guilty when i told him to beat it. he is just so annoying. :[

Marcus Fenix is the cliched and tired "bad-ass" archetype. Also the jack-ass in the beggining scene of FEAR (i've only played the demo so I don't know his name, he's the bald guy). Everytime I heard him talk I just want to shoot him. "your not tough or cool. You're a ****ing moron!"

I'm sure that he's a much deeper character in the novels like The Last Wish.

The girl in secret file: Tunguska

She sounded like an overexited teen and had some of the worst dialogue I ever encountered in a game.

The lady fence in Thief Deadly shadows (I forget which level and her name) for being annoying, and having annoying dialogues.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Torrente yet: "a homophobic, racist, sexist ex-cop who, for good measure, drinks too much and abuses his crippled father" :shock:
