ok so my friend wants me to help him find a good laptop for college, he is going to game but he also wants it to be pretty strong for other things, like movie editing .. photoshop ... illustrator.... exc...

his budjet is 2000$ (if big upgrade can add a little to it)

seeing as i built my computer i rly dont know the good custom build sites for lappys so if someone could customize something and link it here thatd be highly appreciated. i have already looked at alienware and from what i saw it was a huge rippoff but i wasnt too surprised.

a good dual / quad processor, 4 gigs of ram and Raid 0 setup would be to his liking, a nice screen but not at the cost of too much money, graphics card does not need to be the best, but it would be nice to fit a good one in there for him, but im pretty sure he wants to emphasise on processor and ram.

thanks in advance.

a good core 2 duo such as t7500 (2.2ghz 4mb cache)or better, or the new 45nm ones but the low end ones have only 3mb cache so make sure you get the ones with the 6mb 2-4gb ram and it would get a 8600gt/hd3650
