Hello all I'm currently searching for a laptop to buy and found this one: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/328860/HP-Pavilion-dv7-3060us-17-3/ what's your opinion of it? is it a good deal? is the graphics card acceptable to play games like rfactor, left 4 dead 1 and 2,cod mw 1 and 2,flight simulator x,cs source, dead space, halo 2,etc.? I seached on notebookcheck and it told me that it was an above average graphics card for a laptop but I want to know if there are any other better deals on better laptops or some laptop thats coming soon within the 600-800$ price range. Thanks all for your help :)

Should be fine. My friend has a DV6 with a 3650 and he is able to max out Dead space. The 4530 should be around that performance as well. Try and look for a laptop with a 4650 card in it.

Well it all depends on how big you want it. The second one will have a lower res, so you will be able to play games even better, but the other one has a bigger and higher quality screen which will be good if you are going to watch a lt of movies on. Imo id go with the 15 in one. The laptop i am using now is 15in and it doesnt bother me in the slightest.

I'm currently playing on a Dv6 with a 4650, I can play pretty much anything at high (sometimes medium-high) at native res with good fps.

Again thanks for your replies....after seeing videos on youtube of people playing Crysis maxed out and giving some good fps I have to say I'm almost decided on buying the dv6.

EDIT: btw I found another dv6 this being an interl core 2 Duo P7450 Processor 2.13 ghz is this better or worse than the AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile Processor M520 2.3ghz? btw I've never ever have had an intel processor.
