ok i just got an Alienware m15x with the 9800mGT and i am a little concerned about the heat, so i have decided to get a laptop cooler but i havent found any ment for high performance laptops so i have two qustions are there any gaming laptop coolers or should i make my own out of a small psu and high performance fans?

If you just make sure not to use it on your lap or on the carpet you will be fine,,,these things are tested before being mass produced!

Why kinda temps are we talking about here? Laptop parts are made to withstand heat.

80 degrees C while surfing the net and i havent checked while really pushing it playing games. but i am also just paranoid and having the cooler would make me feel better to have on. so have you seen ones for gaming laptops or should i make my own?

It has fans to cool the bottom of the laptop down.

You need to be on a flat surface so the air can exist and enter. Adding fans under usely help a bit... But if you have a big 17-19" laptop then there isn's a solution. Maybe just clean out your laptop.
