I am wanting to get a laptop in the coming weeks. In it I want:

• 17" widescreen screen
• Under $2000.00
• Silver\Black
• DVD Burner\CD Burner

Ok, from Dell, should I get the

• Inspiron 1720

  • 17" Widescreen Monitor
  • 256MB 8600M GT
  • 2GB Shared Dual Channel
  • 250GB Hard Drive (5400RPM)

Or the

• XPS M1330
  • Intal Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2GHz
  • 17" No Widescreen
  • 128MB 8400M GS
  • 2GB shared Dual Channel
  • 160BG Hard Drive (7200 RPM)

Ok, from Dell, should I get the

The first one is about $100 cheaper but the second one has the XPS name.ruler31010

If you want portability let me warn you the 1720 is big and heavy, i have the 1520 and its big and heavy so the 1720 is even worse, however the m1330 is a great laptop and i would reccomend that over the inspirion as it has better build quality, better screen and in all fairness the difference between 200mhz is barely noticable
