Which one is more powerful, serious question...will i get better performance on my laptop with the games i play which are...stalker, guild wars , source games e.g. css, g mod, or will my desktop get better performance, its not important, im just curious wether i should use my laptop for gaming and give my parents my old computer then build a new one

You could choose a legible color for the second PC's specification list, then the question might mean something . .

I'm totally serious lol if my laptop is better than my computer then i will give my parents my computer and then use the money they were going to use to buy a computer to get parts to build a gaming pc

defiantly not a laptop for gaming it will soon be out dated and unable to play lastest games and you wont be able to upgrade the graphics.

Desktop all the way, I dont know how people play FPS with a laptop without a mouse, I just cant see myself.

You've got a very nice laptop. I would agree with everyone else's posts if the question were simply, which is better a laptop or a desktop. But in your situation, your laptop is worth more than your desktop. You've got a hecka fast laptop with 2 gigs of faster RAM than your desktop's 1 gig, etc. etc. Do the right thing, keep the more valuable laptop if you can't keep both. I'm speaking from a monetary and practical standpoint, however. If you're a hardcore gamer, you may want to game on your desktop. Even though you have a powerful laptop, the desktop can be upgraded down the road, whereas this is normally out of the question with laptops, etc. etc.

Thanks for answering the question :) its only temporary of course, i will buy a desktop soon and i dont care about any games coming out any time soon saying i have my 360 for bioshock and halo 3 i am fine
