So I just recently bought a Lenovo T500 pc for school purposes. It has 4 gof ram 2.4 dual core etc. The question is, I have a 2## mb graphics card and was wondering if this laptop is upgradable in the graphics department. I know lots are not but just wondering.

Thanks for your help in advance

Sorry no, you are stuck at what you got. Well... you could buy a USB graphics card, but that would probably be much worse than what you have in your machine.

Hey, would anyone care to tell me if mine is upgradeable? It's an HP G60-235DX Notebook PC, also, is there any way I could get more memory?

No, your HP can't be upgraded.

Very few notebooks can be updated to better graphics. Only exception I recall is that SOME (older?) Dell XPS notebooks are upgradeable.

How much memory do you have now? Most laptops have a memory compartment on the bottom of the unit with either 1 or 2 memory slots in it. You can add or replace the module(s) in there to boost your memory. Yours probably takes DDR2 memory, which is really cheap nowadays.

At the moment I have 2.18 gb of memory left. I'll check for a compartment, thanks.

Yeah, the only exception that comes to mind are the older Dell Inspirons that shared the same general chassis design as the XPS models - you could swap in the 7900GTX if you also upgraded the power supply and modified the heat sink, although doing so cost about $500 and really wasn't worth it.
