Does the t6600 bottleneck the gts160m?

The laptop is about 600 bucks.

I cant decide between the gx640 with a i5 450 and a 5850 (1100bucks) or that one :P

Sorry for bumping a second time but its really important because I have like 2 weeks left before I start on the university. I need a fairly good gpu because ill be working with Autodesk Maya etc. Ill do all the rendering at home so i wont need a blazing fast cpu.

I would go for the 1100 dollar one but neither of those graphics cards would be significantly bottlenecked at all. The cheaper of the two laptops isn't really worth much anymore though. Another decent laptop you should consider is the alienware m11x. Ask any other questions if you need help

Because Ill be working with maya the m11x is way to small, I also need a resolution of at least 1600x900. to the guy above me. Average FPS rating per games : 5870>5850>gtx285>gtx280m>gtx260m>gts360m>gts160m

the mobile hd 5850 is severly deficient in performance when comapred to desktop 5850.its on par with a desktop 5750 may be a little less.ati named their cards on par with the desktop cards up to the 4xxx series.but for the 5800 series ,they are really desktop 5700 series lol.the gts 160m is a very good card and is lower than hd 5850m.if you feel youre ok with the cpu,it is the best deal

yeah i know that the 5850 is an underclocked 5770.

The gx628 has windows 7 32bit while the gx640 has 64 bit. It's kinda stupid they mixed 4gb with a 32bit os :S
