So, I have a DVD drive in my laptop. And for some reason, the the DVDs are playing really, really choppy. I'm usuing VLC player.

It wasn't a problem a couple days ago. But now, it keeps playing choppy, almost like its lagging. Any ideas?

I can use the DVD ROM drive. Madden 08 works fine in there, as do other games. But DVDs . . .

No, I have XP. I don't know why this would happen so suddenly.
