laptops+crysis

hows ppls laptops handling crysis? just curious. I have a 8700m GT in mine and i get 30-40 fps with everything on medium execpt textures on high aswell as post processing.

ps. i also have 3 gigs of ram and a duo 2.8ghz with vista premium.

hey how are 8600m's and 8400 ms handling it as well as 7800s+

no i just wanna see because i bought my laptop because it had a 8700m it, but i was orginally gonna get one with a 8600m, so i wanna see what the diffrences are atm.

lol, no but seriosly. btw medium with high textiures and psot processing is really sweet, its look almost like the screenies here at gamespot. btw how do i take screenshots in the game and post them? lol.

can ppl do the same with the other cards?

lol yea I uninstalled the demo after that, can't wait until I get my quad core cpu and DX10 GFX card in december though.

i had a 8600m GT (256mb ddr2) with Core 2 duo 2.0GHz and 2gb ram.. crysis is running quite laggy with 15-19fps with 848x640 resolution and with settings of medium and some high. But i don't care,because i still can aim and shoot properly at such frame rates :DMRXwee

cool nice, did u OC it tho? i Oc's my 8700m more then it already is. i bet the 8600m can get a solid 30 on medium.

lol why a 8700m GT is alot like that card, actually worse and that where i got medium in with high textures/post processing, idk if it was in dx 10 or not. and that was on average 30 fps'es. bt wi did another test and it recheased 40 at best and at worest goes to 20.

Umm I ran the Crysis demo at medium settings on my laptop and I have the 512MB Nvidia GeForceGo 7950 GTX and it didn't crash or catch on fire.
