so i have an LG W2600h 26inch lcd monitor, got it about 2.5 years ago. just a few days ago when i booted up my computer a red or sometimes green line would appear on the left side of the screen, running top to bottom, about 1 or 2 pixels wide. it would go away after a few minutes. but now about the left 1/5th of the screen has a blue tint, running top to bottom, about 3-4 inches wide. it wont go away, it isnt noticable usually, but when there is a dark background it shows up. it used to be a bit worse, but it is still bad.

it is not a problem with any other computer parts because i have tried hooking the comp up to different monitors, and the problem is not there. you can still see the line even when the screen isnt connected to anything cept power. it is very annoying and I hope there is a way to fix it. I have messed with settings and it wont go away. HELP! thanks

I have seen this before and I don't think it is something that can easily be fixed. If its still under warranty, take it back. If its not, you may be able to have it fixed at a repair store.

I have no idea as I've never had this happen to one of my own screens. If its a connection somewhere, it might be fixable. But if the pixel or something else extremely small are broken, it may not be fixable.
