Lead and Gold Free this weekend

ANyone going to play it? Or already has and their opinions on it as a game. Personally I think it's really good that Steam gives these free weekends. Also how do I preload this game, when I click preload on the update it just takes me to the Lead and Gold page on steam, what do I do from there?

It's merely OK, and definitely not a game you'll spend more time with than other multiplayer action games. For one, the playerbase is pathetic. At most, there are 5 or so populated servers at any given time. If you find more than that, consider yourself lucky. Another problem is lag and strange hit detection sometimes, even on dedicated servers. The map design is very uninspired and forgettable, too. I'll give credit for the class balance, which is at least acceptable, but other than the diverse classes, there really isn't much going for this game and it doesn't look or sound good to boot. Lead & Gold, when you look at the big picture, has been an utter and complete failure. I think it had great potential, but it lived up to none of it.

Alright Paradox summer sale on steam! Was thinking about picking this up as it's half price but seeing as the player base number is so low I'll make due with several other Paradox titles. :)

The games looks interesting and the reviews were decent, I will try it out for sure. I just don't have enough time for another online FPS aside from BC2

I can only recommend the game to everyone, balanced, skill based and it seems to be getting more content all the time.

I got it during the summer sale too and I had a little fun with it and still do at times but its not something that can hold you over for that long. Very low player population also doesn't help. The game has a wild west theme but I felt it was mostly just visuals and not enough game elements to make it feel like your in a western and set it apart from other games it just felt limited.

Decent game and it does still get updated support though and I got it very cheap so I can live with it but I certainly wouldn't buy it at full price.

I think its great its getting a free weekend people can judge it for themselves and hey it'll also help grow the numbers potentially.
