Less Than 4 Days until Guild Wars 2, what race/class are you choosing?

In an attempt to numb my aniticipation for this game I wanted to ask you guys what race/class combo ya'll are choosing for your first character. I am still undecided, but I'm thinking that since my first character in the original GW was a warrior, I'll go with a warrior again for GW 2. I also like the norn race a hella lot.

So, what are you guys going with and why?

I changed my mind and decided on Necro Human. The well changes they made play really well into a dagger/well build I want to try out.

Human Thief. Tried the game today for the first time ever and I like that combo. Love darting in and hitting up and enemy and darting back out before he knows what happened

Norn or Charr Warrior. I like Warriors... and the Norn and Charr are the only races I've really any interest in playing. Played both during the beta and enjoyed it.

Never played the game before didnt get into beta..So im in a toss up id like dps this time around..Thinking of mezmer or shamon even..Can go necromancer either or..We shall see what fancies my appetite when im playing..May try several styles before i decide..Not even sure about guilds yet or what there like..Even if there really a part of this game..So its a whole new world..Ill be playing this i guess untill everquest next appears out of thin air..

I'll probably not play it. I didn't really think the beta was all that good.

I just got done playing, they extended the stress test by 2 hours so I got to play a bunch today. It was a blast. Tried Charr and Sylvari Mesmer and Necro. I have to say I am REALLY liking the Necromancer. It plays really smoothly IMO. Was using an axe/horn combo and the AoE is really good and you can go Death Shroud if you pull to many and just whittle them down.

I'm definitely going Necromancer for live, probably Sylvari.

Pay for the game and never pay a subscription. Play as much as you want. Probably a big reason why I bought it, I will never pay a subscription to play a game

Main: Human Guardian (male)

Alt: Charr Ranger (male)

2nd Alt: Norn or Asura Warrior (way--in the future) :P

I'm waiting a few months for the hype and activity to die down. MMO launches are always hell and I refuse to be part of another one. I'll be playing a Norn warrior.

I don't like their cash shop shop though. I am not happy that they locked out character slots which forces you to buy them to have one of each class.

I'm thinking norn or human, played a sylvari in the beta but don't like them very much. No idea which class though.

Still undecided, but thinking a human mesmer. The mesmer class seemed really interesting to me.. loved their abilities, at least what i saw of them. I tried to level up a few different weapons to try out the different skill types.

I'm still not sure:cry: ... I'm leaning towards Human/Warrior(Necro looks really cool too, sadlyI didn't try him during beta so I'll probably try one out at launch), but I'm going to try out a few different ones once the game launches to see which I like the best. I wish they let you have more than 4 (or was it 5?) characters at once, that was the one thing I didn't like about the beta since I like to try out multiple characters at once and then decide which one is my favorite and then focus on him. I was originally planning on rolling a charr warrior, but I didn't like their starting area during the beta and I didn't like the way they moved as much as I thought I would. I'm really excited for the 25th, I just wish I knew what class I'm going to use as my main:P .

Charr Elementist most likely. Maybe Charr Hunter.

I enjoyed a few classes, elementalist, ranger, warrior. Either human or Charr. I had a severe case of alt-itis in the beta, still never did nail it down. I tried all of the classes, these three were the ones I played the most.

To tell you the truth I am just so glad it was fun. I am really jaded when it comes to MMOs and I was literally smiling the whole time I was playing the stress test yesterday. It seems like the really got the formula right on this one. I can't wait until Friday at midnight.

Me too, a month ago I had no interest in buying the game, then I caved and still wasn't over the moon hyped about it but after playing the stress test I was very very impressed

Norn female mesmer or Norn male ranger. Its between the two and i'm not sure yet. To me the Asurans and Charrs looks so fugly and *uncool* i will probably never even try those two races.

I was thinking Norn Ranger or a nuker. Guess everyone will get a headstart on me i pre-ordered a boxed version from bestbuy.
