I'll have pics of my new rig in few days when I get it built. Modular PSU's will make cable management a lot easier.

Why are all those cables out infront? Hide the ones you ond't need behind the motherboard tray they tie the rest to the far right of your mobo tray

My case isn't quite good for that, there really is no way anything can go behind the mobo tray.

Yes there is, you can see it in the pics, just stuff the spare cables down the back between the mobo tray and right side panel

The best cases i have seen for cable management are the Antec 900 two and the 1200.

This is about the best I could do given the limitations of my case - no room to tuck anything behind the motherboard, so it's all pinned back as much as it possibly can so as to not block any air.

I'm not all that happy with it even though I know there's little more I could do.

Cable managment is one of the hardest things to do with PC's IMHO. Thats because every case, and every set of hardware is different and will require different methods.

I tried to run as much of my stuff behind the motherboard tray as I could. Everything else I tried to tie it down to keep it out of the way.

The worst for me was the floppy cable and the 24-pin main power. So I ran them first, and tied them down tight to the motherboard tray.

I also got 36" long SATA cables so I could run them behind the tray also.

The case is a SilverStone Raven RV01-BW. I did a small mod on it. On the backside picture, that hole there where the wirings are going through in the mobo tray, I cut that out.

It's just about the back plate holes... even the HDD rack is awsome... and also perfect for WC.

Nice cable management... But I don't mind this price... compare to most silver stone case, this is cheap.

I just cut a hole though the side of my case, and ran the wires though thehole around it to the mobo, and you can barely see any wires.

That last-pictured case is just...dear lord, is the Flying Spaghetti Monster taking over that computer? Anyway, the ABS Tagan Black Pearl is pretty spacious and does allow for some good cable management (look at the pictures in this thread to get an idea), though I urge you to get some extended-length SATA (and PATA if you still use it) cables due to the sheer size making good cable management difficult with the cables you usually get bundled with motherboards combined with the reverse-ATX configuration (motherboard's mounted on the left). (Let's just say that the SATA cables bundled with most Gigabyte boards just manage to reach the top two drives on the right drive cage, with no slack to permit behind-the-motherboard-tray routing...) (I don't have any pics of my setup, though, and I'm still messing with the cable layout because I'm rarely satisfied when it comes to cable management. I want things to look clean, with a bare minimum of visible cables.)

It isn't the best, but the cables are mostly out of the way and behind the motherboard.
