This is part of a mod that is coming toward it's end process. This gear will all be slaped in a custom case that I have been working on for a while and I am nearing compleation.

At first I was hoping to keep the build under 3000USD but o well, I want to do this one right, cuz I want it to last me for a while.

The total for the gear shown hear is 2651USD +S&H/Tax

Budget Blown by Case Mod, I am building it from ground up cuz even Lian Li didn't offer a case that conformed to my exact needs.

Notes about the build-

I might downgrade the video card to a HD4870 and then CF or get a better card when I need cuz right now the HD4870 will run all the games I want on max.

Also I am gonna be water cooling, but thats another thread.

Also if I downgrade the video card I might bump up CPU but IDK

This Comp is for Casual Gaming, aka. I don't need the most stunning nextgen grapics cuz I am running XP anyways do to allready having a spare copy of pro sp3. And my current monitor is 22".

Jesus Christ.

I own a pair of the Barracuda headphones. I like them, but I feel bad recommending them because SENNHEISER makes headphones in the same price range that sound a lot better. Anyway, the mic on it doesn't work for most people, including myself. I'm guessing that's why you bought the headphone amp?

The Barracuda sound card costs far more than what it's worth. I saw it for $50 a few months ago, and I figure that's about fair. If I were you, I would go for an X-Fi XtremeGamer instead.

Do you know a place where I could try the SENNHEISER. Also I am looking for a pair of gaming head phones with a removeable mike, that I can wear a long time without my ears getting sore, thats why I was going razer cuz I had tried there products b4 and they sounded great and were confortable.

And do you recomend the other gear instead of price or performance?

Thx
