Why do you need to install drivers anyway? Unless its some kind of calibration config then I don't think theres a need for it on Windows Vista/7 computers.

options on my monitor are grayed out. i cant access the sound options or display options. there is also no sound when i plug in speakers or a head set into the back of the monitor. there definitely should be. im hoping if i install drivers these problems might be fixed lol

Try going to the manufacturer's website and see if theres an updated driver to download. If your using Windows 7 the update thingy for it might pick it up as an "optional" driver. It does that for my Samsung monitor.

also the easy set care package or whatever, needs to be installed for the functions to work also needs to be running. can't you just find the drivers manually on the disk?

edit : also really simple but, needs to be an hdmi cable for audio, and audio function on monitor needs to be turned up :)
