I recently bought a wireless g router and a wireless g reciever. I hooked up the router and it works. I can hook my ds and wii up to it with no problems, but I installed the wireless g reciever on my computer and it won't find any networks. I put it in the PCI slot and installed the drivers. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Uninstall the the drivers from the Add/Remove Programs. Move the wireless card to a different PCI slot and try reinstalling with the latest driver from Linksys' website.

I tried it. The same thing happened. It shows the thing where i can select which network, but it is all blank and the only button I can click is the one that says exit, not the manual set-up button or anything.

Do you see a wireless computer icon near your taskbar's clock? Double click on that - that should bring up Windows Zero Configuration - does it show up any networks from there?

I'd try running through the Windows Wireless Connection wizard in the control panel and enter in your WEP or WPA key. Also try changing the channel in the router config if you can't see your access point. Also make sure you didn't lock out your mac addresses you may have to enter your MAC address in the router config if you choose the lock address option.

Okay, Ill check those. I think it might be my reciever and I might have gotten a dead/defective one. I could just go and buy another.
