Well, I made it to 16 without playing (many) PC games, and up until that point my life was pretty great.
I was exceptionally healthy, I had a broad social network, my education was going pretty well and I had numerous romantic prospects.
In hindsight, my life went to total **** right around the time I became a PC gamer. And the worst part of it is that I welcomed it... wanted it.
Not only do I believe my life would improve almost overnight if I no longer owned a gaming PC, I believe my life as a whole could have been much, much better if I had never become a PC gamer to begin with.
So, uh, yeah. PC gaming is in my veins now, but I'm a little ambivalent. I'd probably give it up if I could... I have allowed it to become a very negative force in my life.

same here.. i opened my hands and eyes to the pc gaming world. but i find it not soo bad.. cuz it makes me feel alive
I am pretty addicted to pc game, not console game, so I would probably stop gaming and do something else like helping the poor... since it will never happen I am safe!
Being addicted to gaming is not worst than people who love to tune their car during their week-end to relax. I prefer to be addicted to that than the casino or drugs.

Amen. At one point of time, it was a negative in my life too. Thankfully, not anymore. I give up gaming for a while to make sure I get through my exams, and then I get back to it again.

I gave up education for a while to make sure I got through Diablo 2. I finished my second year of college with a 40% attendance. Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done,
By the way, I just read your review of Commandos: behind enemy lines and it inspired me to buy the Commandos 1 & 2 double pack, so thanks for that! I have vague memories of playing it when I was first getting into PC gaming, but I'd forgotten all about it.
