I don't have any experience with the F710 but I have had an F510 for a few months. The only difference between the two is that the F710 is wireless and that the F510 is a bit cheaper. The analogs perform similar to the 360 pad yet it has the Dualshock 3 layout. Triggers are much better than the Dualshock 3 ones though. It has the same native plug and play that the 360 pad has and comes with the Logitech Profiler which adds more support for games.
I have used it with games such as Dirt 2 & 3, Devil May Cry 4, Just Cause 2, Batman Arkham Asylum/City, and Skyrim. One great feature that is has is that there is a switch on the back which lets you switch between X-Input and D-Input. X-Input is used for modern games like the ones I mentioned previously and D-Input is used for old ROMs and stuff of that nature.
If you have any other questions about it I'll do my best to answer them
I have never tried a wireless 360 pad. I had a wired one first but was having some weird problems with it so I returned it and got the F510. I was just reading some reviews for the F710 and they seem pretty mixed. Some people have no problems at all it seems and others do.
I have several Logitech products for my PC (Mouse, Headset, Gamepad, USB Hub, and my old speakers were Logitech) and they are all of good quality. I had a problem with the speakers and they were very quick to send a replacement with hardly any questions asked. I was quite pleased with their customer service so if you do try the F710, keep in mind that you could always contact Logitiech if there are any problems and I'm sure they could assist you (especially if they have had trouble with the product in the past).
