Well, my current mouse is a rubbish genius 800 dpi wired mouse. I'm thinking about buying a Logitech M305 (wireless). I basically need a wireless mouse due to the position of my desk. Any opinions on this mouse? Is there much delay/latency to movement?

Good for what? As in, what are planning to do with it?

Simple PC work, yeah, it's a decent mouse - I had a similar Logitec wireless, and it felt alright. Didn't notice any sort of lag, at the very least.

Gaming, though' it felt like I was playing with half a brick in my hand! Sounded like one too, when I tried to quickly drag it across my desktop...

So yeah, if you're planning to engage in any sort of competetive multiplayer gaming, a gaming mouse is a must. Problem is, a quality wireless gaming mouse is conna cost you...

Maybe you should consider the Microsoft Sidewinder X8 - I heard good things about it, and it's not as expensive as other wireless gaming rodents.

I am a major Logitech fan, mostly due to there comfort for long gaming sessions. The best thing is to get a mouse that fits your hand and has enough weight so it comfortable to move around, to light is bad> to heavy is bad, most Logitech mouses comes with weights to add to your mouse and they take a beating mine have been tossed across the room several times and still works perfect. Go to Bestbuy/Compusa try a few displays then go online and buy (Newegg.com best prices)

logitech make the best mice but the m305 is poor for the money when you can buy a g400 which is superb for £10 more

honestly razor mice are generally buggy and quite poor quality.

you may find this informative although its a few years old.

the g400 is the successor the the mx518 which was widely regarded as technically one of the best mice available.
