Ghost Recon Adv. Warfighter 2 = 86 % !!!! ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING ! That's all I got to say for such a horrible game that has no improvements over Adv Warfighter 1. Wow I just loved how my team is still just standing cover behind a wall, looking at the wall while an enemy walks up behind him and shots him in the head with a sniper rifle about 1-2 yards away, OWNED, but I also got owned spending so much money for Adv. Warfighter 2 but this time I just bought it for the hell of it, I knew it would be horrible, I knew it, I laughed at the cover, I laughed when I bought it, even the guy that sold me asked me what the fun was.

Seriously gamespot, sometimes I think it is strange how big names with bad games end up having good scores, please, let's be a little serious too every now and then. Remember, it is you guys representing the gaming industry progress and such...

Well it's for 360, and it's pretty, so naturally it must be a great game.

I don't understand what you are saying and what does this have to do with the PC? The game is not out on the Pc as yet. The game got good reviews from all sites so i guess they are wrong and you are right. Stealth shooters are not for everyone and it's clearly not for you so why did you buy it? Weird...

Didn't I mention a guy walk up behind all my teammates with a sniper rifle and blow their heads off from 1-2 yards away while they were all looking into a wall ?

Yeah the team ai is still as dumb as ever. You have to constantly baby sit them or they will die. It's just easier to go alone. The team controls are still somewhat broke, sometimes they don't listen to orders. Tell them to follow and they don't and so on. I like the new interface though. Nice and neat.

Yet you supported the game by buying it. This is a definite rental-only for me...

I hate games that you have to instruct the teams. It can be annoying at times. I prefer to play alone or with a team without me having to control them. I heard they were going to do tha tin Gears of War but decided to change to no control. Much better that way.

I wouldn't want to contribute the flame-like nature of this thread, but personally, I was not a huge fan of GRAW on the PC. R6: Vegas was a vast improvement on the gameplay side of things (though they are from different series), but both ran horribly on the PC, even with decent hardware. I was running a 4400+, 2 GB RAM and a 7800 GT at the time of its release and unless I threw back resolution down to 800x600 or 1024x768 at medium detail, the game simply would be jerky as heck.

Add to the fact that the user has very limited video options, and could not remove HDR in lieu of antialiasing (the jaggies were horrible to the point of intrusive as there were too many objects onscreen in Mexico). The lack of optimization was just astonishing. I never thought they'd repeat the same mistake with Vegas, but here we are...again.

When you DID play the game, the controls always felt kinda jerky, and it never felt like you had total control of your character. Paths were laid out too auspiciously, as if the level designers were like "Hey, the player is about to enter a hostile-controlled zone, let's make him an OBVIOUS path to the left to flank them." I felt like a puppet half the time.

Controlling the AI was a bumbling mess, and they got in my way too many times. Does anyone else feel like utilizing the AI/tactical maps/Cross-Cam almost feels like cheating sometimes? Normally, this wouldn't be the case, but enemy AI in these games have always seemed to me...very static. I don't know.

Point being, I didn't enjoy the game, and unless they make vast augmentations to their formula, I doubt I'd be interested in GRAW2. Sometimes, I don't know why they sell as well as they do.
