I just got my PC back from cyberpowerpc, I had sent it back for repair because it was freezing up in games and i couldn't figure out why.

Got it all hooked it, excited to finally be able to use it, hit the power button.....BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP....

I know this beep is a sign of RAM issues, how do i fix it if it won't even get to the BIOS?

I'm going to be so damn pissed if they sent it back without testing it first.

Is there any way you can call up your OEM and try to troubleshoot over the phone?

If you have 2 ram card take one out and see what happens, swop it with other one. Take out all the ram and see what happens, it should make beep stop beep continuesly and not a long beep. Open the case and see if your cpu fan is spinning, also take out your graphics card and see what happens

You might be able to find out what that pattern of beeps means online or in your motherboard's user manual.  I still suggest you call your OEM.

Well apparently cyberpowerpc had a retarded person working on my computer. The support pin for the graphics card is broke, so the only support on my card is the 2 little screws in the back. Also the pimary HDD wasn't even connected to the PSU.

Another thing, I sent it back to them without windows xp activated, because it wouldn't let me activate it out of the box.....so I was hoping they would fix that, BUT it won't let me log in without activating.... so that makes me wonder how they even tested it to begin with.

Who says they tested it at all?  lol
For activating, I would call up MS, they can help you activate, but only if you have a legit copy. :!:

BTW: Does this: "BUT it won't let me log in without activating" mean that you got it to start up?

I think you should still call up cyberpwr and at least complain about the service.  Tell them about the effed up VGA card and the HDD.  Maybe they'll give you something for it...

Yea I got it to start up, my windows xp is legit ofc, it just wouldn't let me activate it after I had to reinstall it on the same computer a few times.

And yea, ordering from cyberpower is definately the worst computer experience I have ever had, I see soo many good testimonials on their site. Their tech support sucks, I could barely understand the person that picked up ( some middle-eastern accent) He also had no clue what he was talking about.
