My friend and I just finished playing 12 straight hours of Diablo 2.
No joke, freakin 12 straight hours.
What was the longest you've played a game for and what game was it?

2 and a half hours on various PC games.
Counting console games, 3 hours on Rainbow Six Vegas last weekend.
2 years ago I was sometimes doing 9 or so hours a night playing Oblivion. About 10pm to 7am. Then I'd have to sleep for a while, then get up and play some more.
Many years ago I think I'd pull off an occasional 12 or 13 hours on a Friday playing Diablo 2 or Starcraft.
Over summers back when I was in jr high and high school I think I pulled off a few 15-16 hour spans playing civilization or some of the old AD&D games from SSI. That was kinda rare though.
Nowadays it is rare for me to play more than 2 hours at a time.
Note: All times above have taken into account lunch/dinner/etc and those times have been deducted off the totals.
I believe the longest recorded session was about 8,5 hours in America's Army (the website tracked me).
However, for a short time I was also addicted to Lineage 2 and I might've played longer sessions there. No proof or memory of that though. You lose track of time with MMORPGs
The first knights of the old republic, had to be a long time because i got up at 8 and when i shut it off it was dark outside skar3d
lol.kind of the same thing with me...got up in the morning and pretty much played it until I went to bed...minus short breaks for meals.
I've played Everquest 1 4 days straight once while I was getting paid to power level some people's Toons. I was getting paid 90 bucks per AA for different people, and I could make 1 AA per 1-2 hours or so.
I played BF 2142 about 3 days straight a lot of times while I was # 1 in the world on a lot of the leaderboards, mainly "Overall" with the name "WoKeN"
Oh, **** deal.
Do you still play 2142 anymore? I was thinking of popping it in and getting a bunch of old clanmates to do a couple rounds, but everybody's moved on.
