its not that it's amd, its cus theres so much energy running through it. i guess it would be electrical energy, cus i dont think theres any physically moving parts in a cpu lol.
Well, yeah I know it's not like only AMD cpu''s will get hot. It's just that it was the first one on the video to start smoking. I'm sure the P4's would have done it eventually.

im pretty sure they would have those Pentium 4 cpus run so hot but probably not as much as the AMD's imo.
