I'd like to get a 1440p monitor without breaking the bank. I'm looking at these refurbished Korean monitors on ebay

Does any of you guys have experience with refurbished monitors, and Korean ones at that?

I'm kind of broke at the moment but winter break is coming up and I really want get some of that sweet 1440p action without having to prostitute myself.

Just an update. I bought a refurbished Shimian monitor off of ebay for $200 (including shipping etc). I got today and holy cow have I been missing out.

When I made the payment I wrote a note to the seller nicely asking that they make sure my monitor doesn't have any dead pixels. I guess they listened because this thing is practically new with absolutely no dead pixels or light bleeds. I guess I got lucky lol.

@SimplyFatal: Last time I checked $200 wasn't all that much for a 1440p IPS monitor. Worst case scenario I'll just buy another one lol.
