Looking for a game like Black and White 2 with more combat options other than just recruiting basic footmen and archers.

I want a type of RTS game like black and white 2 where it's not just fighting all the time.

Where i can build a large city and grow population and build monuments with more extensive combat options like Total War 2 or Rome total war.

Can anyone recommend me a good game like this?

Black and White is a pretty unique game and i don't know of any games like it.. maybe you'll have to wait for B&W3.

I agree, B&W 2 is a pretty unique game, not too many out there like it. But I think what you're looking for would be like the TotalWar series andAge of Empires 2 & 3. You might even like to give Civilization 4 a try. Its turn based, but it does focus more on city building and diplomacy.

If you can get past the graphics the original stronghold and stronghold: crusader gamesare fun to play. They have afairly deep economic model (setting rations, multi stage food production lines, manufacturing weapons and armorfrom wood, iron, and leather)castle building, and diverse combat (siege catapults and towers, a fairly basic fire system, and a variety of units).
