Looking for a good 3D hdmi cable

...for use with a PS3. Until I started researching hdmi, I always thought the spec was essentially the same. Then I started reading about false certification and variances in speed. Then I became a little confused as to the amount of options. All I want is a nicely made cable, about 2 meters, that will be 100% compatible with the ps3.

I'm looking at amazon preferably, as that is where I'm buying the tv, but I've been looking at that site as well. Are all high speed cables compatible with ps3? What's the deal with ethernet in the cable? I know the ps3 doesn't support lossless sound with 3d playback, so eventually i'd like to get a dedicated bd player.

I wouldn't worry about the false certification thing AFAIK it was just one company. The type of cable you are looking for is an HDMI 1.3 catagory 2 (catagory 2 can also be listed as high-speed).

Please listen to these other people, dont fall for marketing BS and never spend more than $10 on an HDMI cable unless it has to be super long

Don't let all that marketing BS tell you otherwise (unless like others stated you need to run a longer cable). As long as the PS3 & tv have a HDMI port(s), then any cable will do. As far as ethernet, that's a totally separate thing (that usually has to do w/ internet or network-related things & not your tv/PS3's video/audio settings).

Just buy the cheapest cable you can find that supports 3D no difference between an expensive cable and cheap as its a digital single it either works or it doesn't I've been buying cheap hdmi cables for years and all work perfectly all while costing less then one grossly over priced monster hdmi cable.
