Looking for a good RPG

I'm looking for a RPG game like Elderscrolls or Fable... Any suggestions?

But at the same time it is also a shallow corridor shooter when it comes to combat.

play The Witcher, its a great RPG. Fallout 3 is good, risen/gothic is decent (Gothic 2 is the best one imo). ME2 is good, Dragon age is pretty good but I just hate the tedious combat (you never feel like a bad ass)

If you want a really good FPS melee combat fix like in Oblivion only way better play Dark Mesiah of Might and Magic. Not really an RPG but its sooooo good om nom nom nom.

I said "Elderscrolls" because I've played Morrowind and Oblivion. Morrowind is one of my favourite games ever, except for some minor setbacks.

I'll try The Witcher then. You guys are really fond of that one. And Fallout 3. But I'm afraid it might be a little bit to heavy for my pc. Still have to buy a new one. I tried Fallout 1 or 2 some time ago, but I didn't really like the whole klicking and turnbased stuff etc. I'm more of a RT player with 1pers of 3pers view.

I'll take a look at Risen, Gothic and Two worlds. I heard a lot of you guys mention Risen and Gothic so...

I loved Borderlands Try it

The Witcher wasn't bad, but if you liked Morrowind, well.. The Witcher can be a pretty on-rails RPG at times. I did enjoy my time spent playing it, but I'm sure I got nowhere near finishing the game.. just dropped it at some point.

Risen is my fav recent RPG. :)
