Currently I am playing Unreal Tournament 3 and Left 4 Dead 2. I want a shooter that is modern and has vehicles. Is the New Far Cry anything like that?

No Far Cry 2 pretty much just has Jeeps in it, mostly unarmed, and completely out of place. Apparently Jeep/AMC paid to be included rather than what they really use predominantly in Africa, older Landrovers.

No Far Cry 2 is a pathetic game. Sure, it looks pretty, it really does, but I don't see how anyone can try and argue anything good for the gameplay.

I love the gameplay, for some reason i just enjoy the gameplay too much!! Anyway back to topic the game does not have very modern weapons or vehicles and the gameplay is about driving from point a to point b and kill stuff without a plot or a mission. I would reccomend to wait for bad company 2!!

Go for Borderlands, Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare.

For shooters with vehicles Battlefield 2 is the best choice really. Or BF2142 if you want something futuristic. Yeah those aren't exactly new games but probably the best in the category you're looking for.
