there was an old game called "Jones in the Fast Lane" a turn based game where u live, work study etc..

does anyone know a similar game?

about 1992-93 i think.well if it was like a real life-sim then i gues the closest to it is The Sims 2.and maybe the university expansion if you like studying.

You should get the original copy of Sims 2 then "get" your expansions else where. I only support piracy on their Sims 2 expansions because its just not right paying 29.99 for a minor gameplay/detail update.
