I've got a 5970 yet a measely one 1920x1080 monitor to game on. Since I'd like to get my money's worth I want to do some eyefinity gaming. Thing is my current monitor is also a TN panel so it's not really fit for eyefinity since the bad viewing angles will distort the colors on the two perhiphial monitors. I've been looking for monitors to do eyefinity with for awhile now but I can't find anything that matches my needs.

What I'm looking for is a 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitor with a screen technology that isn't TN (so probably IPS). My budget is $1500 for all three of them, so $500 per monitor (that does not mean, however, that I want to max out my budget). Obviously I'd like the screen size to be as large as possible, the response time as low as possible, and the bezels as thin as possible within the budget. 120hz is a plus but I doubt there's a 120hz IPS panel out there right now (at least not within my budget).

While I am not sure if these monitors are the best, the Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23" Monitor for $300 and the UltraSharp U2410 24" Monitor normally for $600 but currently on sale for $500, both seem to be good good eyefinity monitors. Both of them are IPS panels and both have DisplayPorts.

I say the 24" Dell, and don't think Dell make bad monitors, they are some of the best.

@TC, Will you also consider S-PVA?

Yeah, I'll consider S-PVA as well.

Out of what BladeArtist listed though I'd probably go for the 23". I don't see the 24" as being worth the extra $200 (or rather $600 once I buy all three) unless there's something I'm missing about it besides a 1" larger screen, 120 more pixels, and better color gamut (although I don't know how much better since Dell decided to not list the exact same specs for each one. I'm assuming the difference isn't night and day).
