pvp WoW.

not a grind fest!! NO MMORPG is NOT a Grind Fest, they are designed that way to make the games last. WoW is one of the easier if not the easiest next to LOTRO ( which sucks in comparison ).

fun to play WoW.

not a steal ur soul and life game that u will have to play 24/7 to get anywhere Again, every MMO ... you dont have to play to that degree.

please help me! Sorry, but the MMO genre is in a rut.

You should try Guild Wars, its pretty much met all the requirements you mentioned in your post and all 3 chapters and expansion pack are cheap.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning in development by Mythic.

It's not free, but it looks as though it'll be worth it (first one I'd bother paying for, at least) The battle system is similar to WoW's in terms of interface, but you'd have to ask someone else for the specifics.

PvP is old, RvR is in. You don't just fight the players here, you push through their territory and if your side is strong enough you get to loot their city, taking the leader back to your own in chains (or something like that.) It's not insignificant, either--everyone on your continent (particularly your opposing race) will be painfully aware of it. And since experience is generated through things such as public quests, exploration quests, and a slew of other things, grinding is sort of on the back burner in terms of levelling. Don't know how hungry it is for souls, though. Either way, it warrants a look.

Wait for Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. It is looking VERY good, as the previous poster said, then its both PvE and RvR based where you gain exp and loot in both. The grind system is better than the one of WoW, if you see a bunch of creatures and dont kno if you should kill them or not remember: Somebody wants them DEAD! someone out there, then you then kill them then the system registers that and whenu then find the guy who wants it he goes: "I cant stand bears, and i see u've killed 5 of them, heres a reward" and u can do it over and over again. no need for bear paws like in WoW or anything, and no need to wait for a group in the new Public quest system where everyone who enters a public quest are shares a quest which they can all help complete, and gets rewards according to how much they help.

The RvR is also good, when u get to a higher level (the level cap is 40 because the want more highlevel people in short time) you can do instanced RvR to help your side gain the momentum to attack the enemy capital city (like if the orcs attacked stormwind and sacked, raped, and burned the whole damn place and then took the king home in stocks and threw rocks at him while he hangs dangeling there :P. basiclly this is looking to be one great game.

Seriously i just cant WAIT for this game!

As some people have mentioned, all MMOs have a degree of 'grinding' to them. If you can't tolerate that then you should pick up something else. The Orange Box is a good one. A bundle of games that would do very well on their own, for the price of one.
