Anyone here know of a good router?  The one I have been using recently stopped working and refuses to turn on.  Looking to spend about $150 max.

Ugg. Please not Linksys... I have had more linksys routers (and more linksys troubles) then any other brand. I have had no problems with D-Link though... I have had several routers from them and am currently using a D-Link Wireless router and it is working beautifully. But please... Do not get a Linksys BF41 whatever they are... Uggg..

Oddly I have never had a trouble with Linksys, I had more troubles with Netgear than with the cops. I never did try D-Link though. I just perfer Linksys as my pick. Good to hear D-Link has a fan, I don't hear much about it.

I don't like Netgear either or SMC... Linksys.. I've had three of them BFR41's or whatever just plain die on me. And just the other day where I work the one there just refuses to see my boss's laptop. Or one of them anyway... It sees the other one fine even with the same cable... It will see the laptop with a shorter cable... and they tried a new cable.. I almost bought them... Wait I should just get a dlink router... That might fix ti :D

Wow, you really hate all the brands I like...NZXT, now Linksys. I've used Linksys for years with no problems whatsoever.

I guess everyone have their preferences, just pick the one that you feel will do the work.

:D.. I've used a lot of linksys Routers... 6 to be precise... and 4 of them failed or had problems... out of 5 D-Link Routers and um tons of D-Link network cards (several hundred) not one has failed... Linksys.. I only used two NIC's and one of them was annoying.. But then maybe Linksys just hates me... Some brands do (like ATI)... Let me guess you have an ATI machine with Vista installed? :D
