Hey guys I'm getting an i7 950 and Asus P6X58D-E and am stuck on which RAM I should get. I have narrowed it down to these two: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11180BD4238&vpn=CMX6GX3M3C1600C7&manufacture=CORSAIRhttp://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=13000BD5869&vpn=998805&manufacture=MUSHKIN Now the Mushkins have better timings and I have heard tons of great things about the brand. The Corsairs are of course also a great brand and they are $40 cheaper. Are the Mushkins worth the $40 more for better timings or should I just go with the Corsairs? Will I even notice the difference between CL6 and CL7 timings? I plan to order within an hour or so before I go to bed so my order can get processed first thing in the morning.

I would pick the Corsair memory because it saves you money and you wont be able to see the differences.

Hey thanks for the help but I already ordered the Mushkins. I really couldn't decide so I just went with the more expensive Mushkins. I figured its better to pay more and be happy with what I get then pay less and always think, "What would my system be like if I got the Mushkins". lol $40 isn't too much money anyways. Still I wish I had more time to decide and get more feedback about it.

The Mushkin Redlines is a very good set of RAM. It is a good set for overclocking.

Yep, redlines and blacklines are very good clockers indeed and never had any problems with them.

You should try newegg to see if you can get cheaper deals.
