I'm in the market for some affordable (<$50/$60), comfortable, hypersensitive headphones, so my teammates can hear me with ease even when I'm whispering into the mic.

I prefer on-ear headphones rather than those giant things that completely cover half of your head (as I was reading in another thread, these can cause some of us to sweat profusely, which I have experienced numerous times over the years).

Any suggestions?

I think you meant to say "hypersensitive mmicrophone". I'm not sure what to recommend, I use a twenty-year-old Sony microphone and it works great.

After trying several microphones that didn't work well I might just go for a podcasting mike. Tried $5 $20 and $40 microphones. Funniest thing is my brothers Acer laptop had a cam with mic in it and that one worked absolutely Perfect. Only picking up his voice and crystal clear. If only they sold those webcams seperately I would have been done :P

I think he means he wants a sensitive headset, not headphones. Consider a Labtec LVA-7330 mic. You can strap that to whatever headphone you want, and you'll have a great boom mic and headphones you can use for whatever. Happy gaming, Boz
