Hiya. First post on the forums :)

Anyway, i'm looking for a type of game where you build an empire. Sort of like spore or umm... that game where he says "Say hello to my little friend!" (cant remember the name).

Something like a normal game, but with the empire setting making a huge difference. For example, you have to assasinate somone, and when you kill them it affects the world. Maybe guns are harder to find, or drugs are more expensive.

Another example: you buy farms or businesses, and they provide you with services, like drugs or weapons, or the ability to hire people to help you out.

I hope i explained enough :)

Anyway, all suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

Well uhh... Thanks for the suggestions, but ive already finished AOE and GTA, but ill check empire earth out.

I'm looking for something persistant, not just a game where you build a base, spam spearmen and go knock the enemy to next week.

Fable 2? Even though it's on 360...

Ummm you might wanna keep an eye on APB, despite being an MMO it has most of the things you're after and is in a GTA setting.

IMO its an ok game. You will get quite bored of it very quickly though. I never got all the way through it.

'tis not an empire game, it's simply an open world repetitive FPS.

Well, get yourself some patches and it´s all good.

Besides,Empire wasn´t so buggy as you state.

Wrong. Empire was awful at release. AI couldn't even perform naval invasions.

Which is the only real major bug in the game. Admittidly it is a big issue, but it is pretty much an isolated incident apart from the game's tendency to crash.

I had it fully patched and it was still a buggy mess.

No... just no. So lets see how about the tendency for units to get stuck inside there garrisoned buildings? or there bad pathfinding that would often lead to units stringing themselves across the map.. and while we're on path finding, the amount of times 1 soldier of the unit gets stuck somewhere in the map while moving leaving the rest a useless mass of dummies who can't fire because the unit isn't fully formed. And no these weren't isolated cases.. in 8 hours i ran into these problems so much that i just ended the game and haven't went back.

You "spelt" spelled wrong.
