Looking for decent dojin shmups

Just discovered the website shoot the core and its got me hooked! Any suggestions for any decent dojin smups? Looking for free ones that are not too difficult to get working (I'm not very technical).

Don't mind if they're horizontal or vertical as long as they're good!

I've heard alot of good things about "Ether Vapor" (somewhat recent title.)

I'm not big on shmups (I've only *really* liked a couple titles..Ikaruga, for example), but the Touhou franchise is something to look at if you're interested in trying something completely different (danmaku/curtain fire -- a shmup sub-genre that has a huge following within doujin circles)
