Looking for game suggestions

I'm looking for maybe an rpg. Old or new doesn't matter to me as I will play any quality game but am picky about it just because of the sheer amount of times I have gotten burned for crap games and unlike consoles I cannot sell my games. Oblivion, Hellgate, F.e.a.r expansions and half life expansions are 2 thank for that. Thanks.

i haven't encountered any significant bugs with the steam version of stalker.

I love it when I hit delete instead of edit... Thanks for the suggestions. These all look good and I plan to get crysis when the price drops and s.t.a.l.k.e.r looks great. SS2 also looks awesome but I cannot find anywhere to get it at a reasonable price and am against piracy so if you could point me in the direction of somewhere that is not gonna send me a fake like when I tried to get one off of ebay.

Edit: I have been looking at the witcher and that looks cool but am not sure at how fluent the combat is with the rest of the game. I don't mind slow combat but I would like a bit of action packed as it got old of just point and click of 5 years of playing diablo 2 online :P.

As for SS2, I grabbed a digtal copy off ebay for $15 last december. I'd check there every now and then for the same deal.

Yeah, ebay can screw you over, but for p.c gamers who want to buy older games for little $, its the only game in town.
