My brother and I would like to play something other than DM or CTF. Is there a PC FPS out there that allows more than one person to play through the game?
The Synergy mod for Half Life 2 does co-op pretty well but be on the look out for Left 4 Dead, it looks like the co-op experience that all of us are looking for.
Unreal I fully patched allows you to play co-op. With Unreal Tournament and the OldSkool mod you can play single-player mods that allow co-op as well.
Co-op is a very rare feature in modern FPS games (unfortunately). But back in the old days, any self-respecting FPS had such an option, including the Doom, Quake and Unreal series.
Here are some that should allow you to play through the single player mode in coop.

mercenaries is coming out with online coop it's not quite a first person shooter but i think will have fun when it comes out i know i'm looking foward to it
